With the arrival of Riley (our second son) we have been looking for recipes that are easily frozen and when thawed, don’t turn to mush. My sister had made Chicken Cordon Bleu before with corn flakes, and it was really good. The problem now is that we think Landon’s stomach is sensitive to corn, so that goes out the window and in comes rice chex (we would have tried rice crispies, but the malt makes both Landon’s and my stomachs uneasy).
Wanting to try something new, I went looking for a crock pot recipe that was easy and different. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this recipe and that it met both criteria. Landon loves it too, which is a big plus!
For the past few weeks I have had quite a sweet tooth. Making cookies and treats like Ginger Snaps, Cobbler, and lots of smoothies! Getting kind of bored of those, I went in search of a new and exciting recipe. I can always trust that Karina over at Gluten Free Goddess will have something yummy that at least I can have! (She has been at it a lot longer than us 😉 ). Usually with a little tweaking here and there, we are able to make all of her recipes allergy free.
Oh let the cravings begin… uh isn’t the pregnant one suppose to have the cravings? I have been craving Donuts for a long time, and thanks to my mom giving us her donut pans we have lift off. We didn’t have all of the ingredients that the original recipe so let the substitutions begin!
