Searching for an alternative to sour cream I stumbled on M.A.G. – Adventures in ASD and GFCF living‘s recipe. All their recipes are free of gluten, casein, soy and peanut and many are corn free, nut free, egg free, yeast free and vegan. Sounds good to me! Now, I am not a fan of avocados at all so I don’t know if it taste good or not, all I can taste is avocado. It did well in the recipe that I used it in though.
I modified it a little from the original (mainly because I didn’t have the ingredients). Here is what I did:
2 avocados, skin and pit removed
1 large clove garlic, minced
3 tbsp. dried cilantro
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
dash black pepper
